Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you use Flattr, we collect: the photos you upload for style analysis and Studio try-ons; details you choose to add to your digital wardrobe (item photos, names, brands, product links, prices); upcoming occasions you save; messages you exchange with the Stylist; your account information (email address, first name); and basic usage data to improve the app experience. We do not sell your personal data.

2. How we use your data

Your photos are processed to generate your personal style guide and to power Studio renders. Wardrobe items, outfits, occasions, and Stylist messages are stored so the app can sync across your devices, give your Stylist context for personalised replies, and let you re-open conversations later. Account information is used to manage your subscription and communicate with you about the service.

3. Photo and analysis processing

Photos you submit are processed using automated computer vision systems to identify colour, features and proportions relevant to your style guide and Studio try ons. Original onboarding photos remain saved to your account so you can re run analysis with new photos in the future, and so Studio can keep generating new try ons. You can delete any photo at any time from the app, which removes it from our servers.

4. Data storage and sync

Your profile, wardrobe items, outfits, occasions, wishlist, and Stylist conversation history are stored securely so they sync across the devices you sign in on. Wardrobe item images you save remain on our servers until you delete the item or your account. If you delete your account, all associated data is removed.

5. Data sharing

We do not share, sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We use trusted service providers to operate the app (cloud hosting, model inference, payments, analytics), each bound by confidentiality and data processing obligations. We may disclose data if required by law.

The Shop the look feature opens a search results page in Safari at a retailer you have explicitly connected (for example, ASOS, Uniqlo, Revolve). We pass only the search query, derived from the wardrobe item or outfit you tapped on, and never your profile, photos or any other personal information. The retailer’s own privacy policy governs anything that happens after you reach their site.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us or using the in-app controls. You may also withdraw consent for data processing, which will result in deletion of your account and associated data.

8. Notifications

If you grant notifications permission, the app may send you reminders before upcoming occasions, alerts when wishlist items drop in price, and gentle weekly nudges to plan outfits. You can disable notifications at any time in iPhone Settings.

9. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies to function and anonymous analytics to understand how visitors use the site. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

10. Contact
